Killerton Rugby

St Luke's College being a sports college is was no surprising that many students had an interest in taking part many sports. Rugby was perhaps the main sport that was encouraged at the College and consequently, there were always a significant number of rugby players of differing abilities residing at Killerton at any one time. 

Thanks to contributions from a number of Ex-Killertonions it has been possible to assemble a reasonably gallery of rugby team photos from across the years that Killerton used as a hall of residence

Perhaps one of the most hard fought games witnessed at Killerton
was in 1971 when an "Inter Counties" competition was played.
Certainly it created the most injuries and visits to the RD&E
